Strange ‘frontdoor’ it is located in some kind of appartement building. Be there on time, or you cannot get in! Rooms are small but ok. Some places smell like there is a lot of (hash) smoking going on. Below the appartement is a bar/dacing with music you hear well. Breakfast was very good. Nice staff! Parkinggarage in the back of the building. Low ceeling and not much of camerasight, but it does what needs to be done.

Location near Laim station is absolutely the most positive thing about Hotel Tessin. Breakfast is there and ok. But no fruit makes it just ok. Nothing more. Could not get TV to work but who cares. Cheap compared to other hotels...

We chose this hotel because the reviews were okay, it was near were my niece lives, right off the train, and only one night. We walked in close to midnight and I wish we could have walked right out. It’s small and old. Think lumpy pillows, I was sleeping on a converted couch that slipped (this was the two twin bed room). Trash left put in the balcony. Etc. the room itself was clean and we had very little interaction with the owners/managers. If debating don’t go here.

I couldn't even check into the hotel after trying to ring for 15 minutes. I tried to call and no one picked up the phone. After trying to get a refund, they claim they were there and I just didn't check in. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a reliable accommodation.

This hotel was kinda confusing before booking it since it had some old picture here on TripAdvisor and other website but going by what reviews said that hotel it’s been remodeled I decided to book it. If you are coming from Airport you need to get off in Laim station and wall about 5 min. Hotel it’s on the second floor, it could be a little confusing for some people but it does have a huge sign that says hotel. Lobby staff was nice, we didn’t get the room right away because we got there too early but we were able to leave our bag to later checking. When we got to the room I found it very nice and modern like some pictures other travelers have posted it. Bed was very comfortable and the comforter was so soft that we didn’t want to wake up. They have in the same hotel breakfast buffet and it was very tasty, we liked it a lot. Only downside for me was the distance, I thought it was like walking distance to the city center but you actually have to take a train and get off after 4-5 stops to get to Marienplatz where all the attractions are located. If you do wanna be out of the whole touristic area , this hotel it’s ideal because it’s very quiet around.
